Jack, the son of Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan, is growing up.
The retired athlete celebrated his eldest child’s 17th birthday on Thursday in a touching tribute on Instagram.
“Happy 17th birthday to the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful 17-year-old I know,” the 47-year-old former quarterback wrote under a carousel. “You are truly a blessing in my life and I am so grateful to watch you grow into a young man.”
Brady continued, “Your love for family, friends, school, sports, hard work and dedication to everything you put your energy into are just some of your amazing qualities. I enjoy spending every minute with you and I cherish our time together.
“These are all things I like most about you,” he concluded. “What I like least is that you can now beat me one-on-one 🙄😂. I love you always and forever, happy birthday dad.”
In the social media slideshow, the teenager smiled for a selfie with Brady, played golf and spent time with his half-siblings Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.
Brady is the father of his two youngest children with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen, from whom he separated in 2022.
The former couple had been together since 2007 and the Super Bowl winner found out early in the relationship that 53-year-old Moynahan was pregnant with his child.
Nikki Glaser joked about the moment Brady was the subject of a Netflix roast in May.
“Tom, you’re the best that ever played and you’ve been for ages. You quit, then came back and then quit, I understand that,” the comedian said. “It’s hard to leave something behind that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend.”
Glaser, 40, also poked fun at Bündchen’s romance with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente since splitting from Brady – as did Kevin Hart and other participants.
The model was “deeply disappointed” that the comedy special included jokes about her and her children, People reported.
That same month, Brady confessed on an episode of the podcast “Pivot” that he “didn’t like” the way the roast “affected” his family.
While Bündchen’s relationship with 34-year-old Valente took a romantic turn last year, Brady made headlines with his affair with Irina Shayk.
Most recently, he was linked to Sports Illustrated swimsuit star Brooks Nader.
