American Airlines throws man off plane because of his bleeding head

Two airline passengers were arrested during a flight after one of them refused to leave the plane due to a head bleeding.

On Monday, Eugenio Ernesto Hernandez-Garnier, 27, and Yusleydis Blanca Loyola, 32, were flying with American Airlines from Miami International Airport to Las Vegas when flight crew noticed that Hernandez-Garnier’s scalp was bleeding.

When asked to apply more bandages to his wounds – believed to be from a hair transplant – Hernandez-Garnier told staff he did not have any more, prompting a supervisor to ask him to leave the plane.

The couple replied that if they couldn’t fly, “no one else could either,” a police report said.

A TikTok video posted by Loyola shows police officers pulling Hernandez-Garnier from his seat as she sits next to him. He can be seen wearing bandages on the back of his head, but not on his head.

Newsweek Outside of normal business hours, he contacted Miami-Dade police via email to obtain further details about the arrests.

Earlier this month, the captain of a Tui plane flying from Glasgow, Scotland, to Tenerife, Spain, warned his passengers not to misbehave before the plane had even left the runway.
