Suniel Shetty took to Instagram to post a heartfelt message and a monochrome photo of himself hugging his wife Mana Shetty. In the picture, Suniel looks smart in a formal shirt while Mana keeps it casual in a t-shirt. Expressing his love, the actor wrote, “Happy birthday wifey… my fellow Leo, partner, best friend and confidante,” showcasing the enduring bond they share.

As soon as Suniel Shetty shared the heartwarming photo, the comments section was filled with love from fans and celebrities. Tiger Shroff wished, “Happy birthday Mana aunty.” Riteish Deshmukh sent his warm wishes with, “Happy birthday Mana!! Lots of love.” Neha Dhupia added, “Love always… happy birthday Mana ma’am.”

After nine years of relationship, Suniel Shetty and Mana Shetty married on December 25, 1991. The couple had their first child, Athiya, in 1992 and their son, Ahan, in 1995.

Earlier, during an appearance on comedian Bharti Singh’s podcast, Suniel Shetty had revealed that his mother initially disapproved of his relationship with Mana and was against their marriage. However, she eventually relented as Suniel insisted on not marrying anyone else. He stated that he had told his mother that he would not marry anyone else and risk ruining the lives of two women.

Suniel revealed, “Mana and I were together for nine years before we got married and whenever my mother brought up the topic of marriage, I would tell her, ‘You know I am seeing someone. If I marry someone else, I will ruin two girls’ lives. So it’s better if I don’t get married. I won’t be against you but I won’t get married either.'”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Suniel Shetty is gearing up for his next project, the comedy Welcome To The Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features a star cast including Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and Tusshar Kapoor.

Apart from this, Suniel is expected to reprise his iconic role as Shyam in Hera Pheri 3 alongside Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, but an official announcement is yet to be made. He will also appear in The Legend of Somnath.
