John Cena spoke openly about how he exposed himself in front of the camera on the big screen or in a room full of Hollywood stars at the Oscars.
In a new interview, Cena said that filming intimate scenes was not a pleasant experience and Club Shay Shay“it’s the worst.”
“It takes so many people to make a movie,” Cena said on Shannon Sharpe’s show. “There’s nothing intimate about it. Nothing. It’s really embarrassing.”
Cena remembered the sex scene from 2015 Train accident to Amy Schumer, adding, “And then a weird sex scene where you make fun of yourself? They literally said, ‘Try to have the most awkward sex you can imagine.’ I’m not saying it sucks, but it’s different than what you all think.”
Cena noted, however, that filming the sex scene for the comedy was not as difficult as appearing nearly naked at the Oscars.
“I have all the people behind the camera, but then I step in front of a room full of colleagues, many of whom I’ve never met because I haven’t worked my way up to get to know them,” the WWE star said. “I have the most decorated performers, producers and directors in a room and I walk out there with my balls in the wind, with an index card over my stuff, thinking, ‘Hey guys, is this funny? Are we good?'”
The Peacemaker The star recalled the phone call with presenter Jimmy Kimmel about working on the awards ceremony: “Jimmy Kimmel called me personally and said, ‘I need you at the Oscars.’ And he said, ‘I’ll just send you the piece.’ And he sent it on paper and I called him back and asked, ‘When do you want me to be there?'”
Cena said he initially thought he was “more naked,” adding, “I expected a full cock and balls, but it’s Disney, so they put duct tape on my ass and stuff. That was even more embarrassing. Going out there with a taped up asshole? That’s tough.”
