4. Candles from Aequo
A row of Sandur candles from Mumbai-based design collection gallery Aequo sit on the red dining room cabinet, alongside stone lithographs used by Raja Ravi Varma to create prints of his paintings, sourced from Kavita Singh Interiors.
5. High chair by Mahendra Doshi
“My favourite piece was actually given to me by Chiki Doshi – or, as everyone knows, Mahendra Doshi. He made it for my little baby Vayu and I love it. It’s a real collector’s item,” says Kapoor. While you may not be able to buy this piece, there is plenty to discover in Mahendra Doshi’s vast stash of antique and restored furniture.
6. Custom-made kitchen tiles by Shibani Dhavalikar
Bespoke tiles by artist Shibani Dhavalikar adorn the kitchen designed by Anjali Shah, which features a Smeg cooktop and traditional Indian copper and brass vessels. Inspired by the timeless beauty of Delft pottery, the kitchen captures the essence of an Indian summer meadow with 2,100 carefully crafted tiles.
7. Khanoom Pottery
The hand-painted ceramics displayed on the outdoor balcony are by Jaipur-based studio Khanoom.

8. Dhurrie Rug by From Jaipur With Love
An extension of her bedroom, Kapoor’s maximalist dressing area features a custom-made Venetian mirror and a Dhurrie rug from From Jaipur With Love.

9. Hermès rocking horse toy
Vayu’s room is surrounded by a jungle mural by Vikas Soni. The rocking horse on the side table is by Hermès.
10. Children’s chair by Rooshad Shroff
Designed by Rooshad Shroff in a child size and inscribed with Kapoor’s son’s name, this chair is unique to him. However, the same design is available in regular adult sizes too.
