Additionally, replacing Kang the Conqueror with Doctor Doom was one of the best decisions the franchise has made in a long time and showed how serious they were about getting back to where they were. While individual nuggets of information were enough to satisfy fans’ hunger, the franchise was pretty generous with what it shared with us.

The official concept art of the main antagonist of the next phases was recently released and to say it’s impressive would be an understatement.

Doctor Doom’s look revealed!

Ever since it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. would be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have been excited. However, many are skeptical about the casting. Although the majority of fans want the actor to return, it is safe to say that no one expected it to happen this way and as Doom of all people.

Although some have dismissed the decision as a complete bad one, there are others who want to know what the Russo brothers have in mind before they pass judgment. Recently, the couple did just that, revealing their vision to fans through an influencer and some very famous fanart.

Justthenobodys on Instagram recently published a post where they unboxed a package they received directly from AGBO Films, a production company founded by the Russos. The package was supposed to contain the first look at their vision for Doctor Doom in the MCU, and it’s safe to say they did not disappoint.

The Russo Brothers continue to impress their fans

When it was announced that Robert Downey Jr. was returning to the MCU, many fans hoped that his version of Doom would be an evil variant of Iron Man rather than the comic book-faithful Victor Von Doom. While this seemed unlikely due to several factors, the fanart shown in the video seems to say otherwise.

Shortly after it was announced that Downey Jr. was coming back, Bosslogic on Instagram, he posted a piece of artwork depicting a hypothetical version of Doom merged with Iron Man. He wore the helmet of the Iron Man suit and instead of the popular and calming blue-white glow coming from his eyes, there was a menacing green.

“I need the regular Doom, not one of these multiverse variants, just Victor Von Doom with his iconic look, not the Iron Doom look.” said wonderb0y77 on Instagram.

“Ironman Suite with Doom’s Cape” added Brijeshcolter.

“Looks like the infamous Iron Man” mentioned deeppatel8126.

“Just give us regular Doctor Doom, not that Iron Doom crap.” cbknowledge criticized.

“We want a normal Doom Man, don’t confuse him with Iron Man” said ashish.css.

It seems the fanart got on the Russo brothers’ radar, as they’ve now used it as their entire vision for the character. While many criticized the merging of these two iconic characters, others couldn’t be more excited.

Some fans believe that since both characters have a lot of significance in the comics and to the fans, they should have their own big appearance. At the same time, there are many who want nothing more than a Tony Stark and Victor Von Doom fusion. The official AGBO Films Instagram account also commented on the post, paying tribute to the original artist and adding to the hype surrounding the big reveal.
