Anil Agarwal, Founder and Chairman of Vedanta Group, recently posted a special heartwarming birthday post for his youngest daughter, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, on X (formerly Twitter). In his post, Mr. Agarwal spoke about raising his children. He shared that his children never had any special privileges and he always taught them to be fighters. “I always taught my children to be fighters. I was mostly tough on them and never pampered them,” the industrialist wrote, sharing old photos.
Mr Agarwal then recalled that his daughter Priya Agarwal Hebbar was “never given any special privileges”. “We lived in Mayfair and had the means, but she always took the tube or public transport. She has always led a simple life, remained culturally rooted and followed the Indian value system despite growing up in different countries. She decided to move to Mumbai and work for various social causes,” Mr Agarwal recounted.
