Watch Channing Tatum charmingly convince his fiancée Zoë Kravitz to say the engagement ring is her favorite gift

The engaged couple appeared on Complex’s GOAT Talk podcast

Channing Tatum wants everyone to know that Zoë Kravitz’s engagement ring is a real winner.

The Flash twice The 44-year-old star and his 35-year-old fiancée, the director, both appeared Complex‘s GOAT Talk podcast on August 20 and exchanged questions about what they consider to be the “GOAT” things – aka the greatest of all time.

One question Tatum had for Kravitz? The “GOAT gift” she received.

However, when he asked her, he tried not very subtly to elicit an answer from her.

Tatum glances at Kravitz’s engagement ring as she considers her answer, but she quickly understands the clues he’s giving her.

“What was that? That’s not a gift. Is it a gift? That’s something else. That sneaky glance down at my ring just now, dude? That was crazy,” she tells him as they both laugh at him and try to convince her to tell viewers that the best gift she’s ever received is the ring he gave her.

He asks her again what the best gift she has ever received is and she replies sarcastically: “Your love and affection.”

Tatum can’t help but respond that he agrees.

Kravitz and Tatum got engaged last year after dating for two years. The two first met while working on Flash twice In 2021, Kravitz will make his directorial debut.

At the film’s premiere in Los Angeles on August 8, Tatum told PEOPLE that he had nothing but praise for Kravitz’s work on the film.

“Creating something with someone you love is probably one of the most fulfilling things, outside of having a child with someone, I think,” Tatum said of the “best” thing about making a film with his better half.

“It’s one of those … you really create something from nothing and it’s like a marriage or creating something where you think: everything we are goes into this and you want to create it with the people you love,” he added.
