Six arrests in College Station Police Department drug investigation

Six people were arrested for drug possession and sale and engaging in organized criminal activity in College Station and Bryan, a post on the College Station Police Facebook page said. Searches of two homes in Bryan and one in College Station turned up 1,500 fraudulently manufactured Xanax and Adderall pills and 70 vape cartridges containing THC, among other items. WTAW News has asked CSPD for the estimated value of the drugs seized. According to online Brazos County Jail records: On Monday (Aug. 19), Cooper Currie, 26, of Bryan, was booked into the Brazos County Jail for possession of between 5 and 50 pounds of marijuana. Additionally, a motion to revoke probation was filed following a conviction for possession of between 5 and 50 pounds of marijuana, four counts of manufacture/delivery of controlled substances and engaging in organized criminal activity. Currie is being held on a total of $115,000 bail. On August 6, 23-year-old Cayden Carroll of College Station was arrested on two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Bail on those charges totals $13,000. Carroll is being held without bail for violating probation after being convicted twice of burglary of a home. On August 2, 19-year-old Zakary Webb of College Station was arrested on two counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. Webb was released from jail on August 3 after posting a total of $45,000 bail. 20-year-old Kate-Lynn Lindeman of Whitney, Texas was arrested on May 16 for engaging in organized crime. She was released from jail the following day after posting a $25,000 bail. Alexander Welch, 27, of Temple, was arrested on May 15 for aggravated possession of marijuana. He was released from jail the same day after posting $12,000 bail. Daegin Hamilton, 21, of Bryan, was arrested on April 23 for three counts of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and illegal possession of marijuana. He was released the next day after posting a total of $44,000 bail.
