Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt’s daughters are ready to go back to school! On August 19, the 34-year-old “Good Night, Sister” author shared adorable snaps on Instagram showing her daughters Lyla Maria, 4, and Eloise Christina, 2, heading back to school. In one adorable photo, the sisters are dressed identically and stand side by side with matching sparkly pink backpacks with their names on them.

“How can school be starting again already?!” Schwarzenegger Pratt lamented in her caption. “Here’s what we’re doing to help kids get back into a routine.”

Schwarzenegger Pratt shared her tips for getting into the swing of things: “Start early – the best way to get into the swing of things is to start well in advance of the week. Adjust bedtime or nap time (if you’re still lucky with the nap) – we’ve been gradually moving bedtime back 15-20 minutes each night until the kids are back on the school nap schedule. We all mess up our schedules a little bit in the summer.”

As for screen time, the mother of two, who is expecting her third child with Chris Pratt, prefers no screen time in the evening. Instead of doing puzzles before bed, as many parents tend to do, she suggests spending that time reading, drawing or playing with small toys.
