Las Vegas Raiders CB Jakorian Bennett from the locker room

HENDERSON, Nevada – The Las Vegas Raiders are beginning their fifth week of practice and preparing to host the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium on Friday for their final exhibition game of the season.

Silver and Black coach Antonio Pierce has announced that Gardner Minshew is the team’s starting quarterback and the team will move on.

None of the stars will play on Friday night.

CB Jakorian Bennett took time in the locker room following the Raiders’ loss to the Cowboys to discuss his thoughts on the state of Raider Nation.

We have everything he said for you and you can watch it below:

Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce recently gave a speech before practice. A partial transcript is below.

Q: You’ve made the decision, you’ve obviously seen him for weeks, now you’ve seen two games, what do you want to see from Gardner Minshew in the future? What qualities do you want him to have at the helm of this team?

Coach Pierce: “Yeah, well, first of all, he’s a loving person, he has a loving image and he has loving leadership. Things that can be improved are footwork in the pocket, he sticks to the script. There’s something magical about him when he breaks out of the pocket and does his thing, but there are a lot of situations where when the first or second attempt is there, we have to go for it. So he understands that and more importantly, he cares about the football.”
