Live updates on Day 1 of the DNC: President Joe Biden delivers keynote speech in Chicago

While the DNC has not yet released a list of speakers scheduled for each evening, its website lists some of the convention’s daytime events, including caucus and council meetings and press conferences.

Actors Kerry Washington, Tony Goldwyn and Mindy Kaling and commentator Ana Navarro will serve as hosts at the Democratic National Convention this week, convention officials confirmed to ABC News.

Each of them will moderate one evening of the four-day congress, begin the program with opening remarks and appear on stage repeatedly throughout the evening.

Goldwyn will host Monday night, Navarro on Tuesday and Kaling on Wednesday. Washington will host on Thursday, the evening Vice President Kamala Harris will formally accept her nomination.

Biden is scheduled to speak at the DNC on Monday.

Sources told ABC News that according to a work schedule that is subject to change, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will also speak Monday night, former President Barack Obama on Tuesday, Walz and former President Bill Clinton on Wednesday and Harris on Thursday.

As usual, Democratic National Committee Chairman Jamie Harrison will ring the gavel on the first night of the convention.
