Rumors about the start of filming of John Wick 5 allegedly refuted

John Wick: Chapter 5 Rumors about the start of filming have reportedly been debunked. Released in 2023, John Wick: Chapter 4 ended explosively and ambiguously when Keanu Reeves’ eponymous killer apparently succumbed to his injuries after a duel with Donnie Yen’s Caine. Shortly afterwards, the fourth film was released in cinemas and became a box office hit. John Wick: Chapter 5 was announced by Lionsgate, despite Chapter 4However, the ending of “The Last Airbender” remains unclear, what form it will take, and whether Reeves will be involved.

But according to Collider, John Wick: Chapter 5 will not start filming next yearreportedly refuting earlier rumors that production would begin sometime in 2025. ColliderSources confirm that while a fifth film is still possible, filming will not begin next year. If the project moves forward, Chad Stahelski will be the director and no one else.

While he will reportedly direct John Wick: Chapter 5 when it happens, Stahelski’s full concentration is currently on the Highlanders Restartwhich he will write, direct and produce. Filming for the project is set to begin early next year in Scotland, with Henry Cavill playing the lead role. This would have been John Wick: Chapter 5 Rumors that filming would begin sometime in 2025 have now reportedly been refuted.

Stahelski, who won the first four John Wick films with great success, was recently assigned a special role at Lionsgate to both the John Wick And Highlanders franchises, due to his exceptional work with the studio. The John Wick Franchise will be expanded with the upcoming release of ballerinastarring Ana de Armas and the return of Ian McShane as Winston Scott, the late Lance Reddick and Reeves. However, this is the only planned addition to the Wick universe in the film realm.
