Young Cuban artist gives Trump a painting depicting his victory gesture after surviving the attack in Pennsylvania

A boy Cuban painter has talented former US President Donald Trump a painting showing his victory gesture after he escaped an attack during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania last July.

Enrique Turthat is the name of the young artist, presented this gift to the former president during a Trump campaign event in Thomas Wolfe Auditorium the Harrah’s Cherokee Center In Asheville, North Carolinaon Wednesday, August 14th.

“I want to thank God, President Trump for this opportunity that means a lot to me, and my family and friends who believe in my art. It was a 15-hour drive through this beautiful country and the goal was achieved,” Tur wrote on social media.

The young artist drove from Dallas, Texaswhere he lives, to Asheville for the sole purpose of delivering his gift.

Niover Licea highlighted the painter’s act on his Instagram Profile mentioning that Tur originally came from Santiago de Cuba and completed the Lecturers at the Art School in this city.

Trump personally received the painting from the young artist and, surprised, told him that he would take it with him. He noted that although he had been given other allegorical paintings, none was like this one.

The painting is titled “Thwarted Attempt” and is a 30 x 44 inch oil painting on canvas, Tur said.

After the July 14 attack, former President Trump confirmed that the bullet grazed the “top of his ear.”

“I knew immediately something was wrong when I heard several gunshots and immediately felt the bullet graze my skin,” Trump said in a statement.

After the attack and his subsequent hospitalization, Trump’s campaign team said he was “doing well” and “being evaluated at a local medical center.”

Various politicians immediately condemned the attack.
