Drena De Niro, the eldest daughter of Robert De Niro, shared a video of her father jumping off a yacht in honor of his 81st birthday.
“Happy 81st birthday my dad and #1 ride or die,” she captioned the Instagram post. “I love you with all my heart ♥️♥️♥️ #BobbyD forever ✨👑.”
In the video, the shirtless “Goodfellas” actor jumped from a yacht into the sea, wearing only red and blue striped swim shorts from Vilebrequin.
Although Robert dived in head first, he ended up landing on his back in the water.
“He’s so crazy. Oh my God. Oh my God. Are you okay?” Drena, 56, asked her father when he resurfaced in the water.
The father of seven children replied: “I’m fine.”
Drena then told Robert he was “sick” and “crazy” about the epic jump.
The actress asked a yacht employee how high her father jumped from and he replied, “36 feet.”
Drena’s comment section was flooded with birthday wishes for the legendary actor.
“HBD to 1 of 1, New York’s best.🏛️🥂,” wrote one user.
“Happy birthday to the best actor in the world❤️,” added another.
“Happy birthday to the best actor of all time on his 81st birthday. And many more. From a very big fan ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” said a third person.
“Happy birthday OG!!!!! May we all look this good at this age! Godless,” said a fourth fan.
In the Instagram carousel, Drena, who adopted Robert during his marriage to Diahnne Abbott, shared an old photo of her late son Leandro and the “Irishman” star.
In July 2023, Drena announced that her son, whom she had with graffiti artist Carlos Rodriguez, had died at the age of 19.
Leandro died from a “toxic” combination of illegal drugs, the New York medical examiner told Page Six last August.
Following the news of his grandson’s death, Robert released a statement saying he was “deeply saddened.”
