Flight attendant attacked in hotel room during stopover at Heathrow

An Air India flight attendant was shocked after she was attacked in her hotel room during a stopover in London.

A few days ago, at around 1:30 a.m., an intruder entered the flight attendant’s hotel room and attacked her.

Alarmed by the woman’s screams, her flight crew colleagues who were staying in the neighboring rooms came to her aid and the nameless intruder fled.

He was arrested a short time later.

It is not known whether it was a planned robbery or an attempted sexual assault.

The incident occurred at the Radisson Red Hotel London Heathrow.

The woman was reportedly dragged to the ground and suffered bruising and was subsequently taken to hospital for examination.

She has now returned to India and is receiving counseling there, the airline said.

“We are deeply shocked by the incident of unlawful intrusion at a hotel operated by a major international chain,” Air India said in a statement.

“We are providing all possible assistance and are working with local police to pursue the matter to the fullest extent of the law.”
