Davi Alves has tried his hand at Paul Dano’s Riddler in a piece The Batman Fan art. Previously, Alves shared a piece Superman Fan art featuring David Corenswet and Milly Alcock as Superman and Supergirl respectively.

The artwork in question, which is based on the 1966 cover Batman #179, sees Dano in classic Riddler garb while he holds three cards with riddles in his hand. The first card reads: “If you are justice, please don’t lie. What is the price of turning a blind eye?

The Batman returns to theaters with an exclusive look at HBO’s The Penguin.

In the spotlight The Batman Dano himself explained in 2022 that he had the idea to wrap the Prince of Riddles in plastic wrap to prevent DNA from being left behind in his crimes. Unfortunately, Dano got too hot from his mask, and director and co-writer Matt Reeves confessed at the time: “(Dano) took off the mask. He was bright red.”

“If you are justice, please don’t lie. What is the price of turning a blind eye?”

Dano further noted, “My head was pulsing with heat. I went home that night, after the first full day there, and I could hardly sleep because I was afraid of what was happening to my head. It felt like it was being compressed by the sweat and the heat and the lack of oxygen. It was a crazy feeling.” Eventually, the film’s costume department figured out how to make Dano’s mask more breathable.

And once you’re there, you almost have to keep it up, because the ups and downs are pretty hard.”

Interestingly, Dano noted that his Riddler mask gave him a sense of power. Coming back to Reeves, he confirmed that the real Zodiac Killer was the inspiration for Dano’s Riddler.
