Shah Rukh Khan’s daily routine and fitness secret revealed: “I go to sleep at 5 am and eat one meal a day.”

Shah Rukh Khan surprised everyone with his comeback on screen after almost four years with ‘Pathan‘ And ‘Jawan‘. People couldn’t stop gushing about his washboard abs and chiseled physique in ‘Pathaan’ which belie the fact that he is 58 years old! In a recent interview, the superstar revealed the secret behind his fitness which is actually the exact opposite of what the other fit superstar Akshay Kumar believes in.
Akshay often advocates going to bed early and getting up before sunrise. He is known to wake up at 4 am and does most of his shoots early in the morning. However, Shah Rukh has revealed that he sleeps at 5 am. In an interview with The Guardian, he said, “I go to sleep at five in the morning. When Mark Wahlberg gets up, I go to sleep. And then I wake up around nine or ten if I’m shooting. But then I come home at 2 am, take a bath and work out before I go to sleep.”
The actor further said that he spends half an hour in the gym every day and eats only one meal a day. This is just his personal preference, he added, and has nothing to do with intermittent fasting.
After blockbusters like ‘Pathaan’, ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunki’ last year, the actor is now gearing up for his next film with Sujoy Ghosh. He recently announced the project titled ‘king‘. He said, “We just felt Sujoy was the right choice because we wanted the film to be very emotional. We are all coming together to make a cool, massive, action-packed and emotional film.”
“King” also stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
