Big board for the 2024 Fantasy Draft
Before we dive into my top 200 rankings, I want to warn you about the two biggest mistakes I see people make when using a comprehensive ranking like this one.
First, don’t ignore the ADP (Average Draft Position). If you draft a player way ahead of his current ADP, you’re simply sacrificing a ton of value by picking those guys too early! Instead, focus on drafting players that you know are unlikely to make it back to you next time it’s your turn. If you think a player will fall for a few more rounds, then exercise some patience before selecting him.
Second, these fantasy football rankings should be used as a guide only. It’s fine to pay close attention to overall rankings in the first few rounds, but as your fantasy draft progresses, your team’s current roster and needs should play a larger role in your decision-making (i.e. positional rankings become more important than overall rankings).
For example, if you have two running backs at the start of a draft, selecting a third RB in the third round is probably not the best use of draft capital, even if a running back is the highest-ranked player available according to this list. A good rule of thumb is that you almost never want your third RB before your third WR. In case it isn’t already clear, in league formats where you only start one, if you’ve drafted a QB or TE, avoid drafting another one, even if it’s at the top of the list. The surplus at these positions makes it pointless to have more than one on your roster at any time (except during off weeks).
Without further ado, let’s take a look at my overall fantasy football rankings!
