Maya Giron joined the Post Bulletin staff in 2023. She grew up in the Berkshires region of western Massachusetts and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in photojournalism in spring 2023. While at RIT, she interned at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in Pittsburgh, PA, and the Rapid City Journal in Rapid City, SD before moving to Minnesota.
