How to watch, free code

The Big Ten Network is offering Oregon Ducks fans a free code that will allow them to watch every single Oregon Ducks game this year.

That’s a welcome feeling for Ducks fans, who have notoriously struggled to access their team’s games due to network deals with their former league, the Pac-12, and the Pac-12 Network.

Now Ducks fans have the opportunity to stream all of this year’s non-televised events for free, including the women’s soccer team, which earned its first win as a member of the Big Ten Conference on Thursday night.

The code is MIGHTYOREGON24 and must be entered on the Big Ten+ website or app.

Meanwhile, the Oregon Ducks football team is preparing for the 2024 season in fall training camp. Oregon coach Dan Lanning has an exciting roster full of veterans, top transfers and rookies looking to make an immediate impact.

Top transfer quarterback Dillon Gabriel and transfer wide receiver Evan Stewart are the Ducks’ top new recruits. Gabriel already has the team firmly under control. Before fall training began, Gabriel promised the entire team that he would do his best, according to Oregon senior linebacker Jeffrey Bassa.

“(Gabriel) said this last week in front of the whole team: We’re going to get the best version of him,” Bassa told Bri Amaranthus of Oregon SI. “(He said: I’m here to work now. I’m here to be the best. I’m here to help all of you. You’re going to get the best version of me.”

More good news regarding the Oregon transfers. Coach Lanning had high praise for Stewart’s talent during practice.

“Evan has a lot of positives to offer, the way he attacks the ball,” Lanning said. “Like I said, I think he’s one of the best coming out of the spring when it comes to attacking the ball in the air. He definitely has the right speed and we’re going to continue to look for him to increase that and improve his game for us.”

One of the most anticipated matchups this college football season is the game between the Oregon Ducks and the Ohio State Buckeyes on October 12 at Autzen Stadium. This first meeting as conference opponents in the Big Ten could be the first of many clashes between two budding rivals.

“Incredible team. We certainly don’t look ahead, but you can’t look at the schedule and not know who has a chance to play, and Ohio State has done an incredible job year after year,” coach Lanning said on the Jim Rowe Show. “They’ve been very successful, they’re well coached, they’ve recruited really well and they’ve made history.”

Oregon has also placed an emphasis on strength training and physical fitness this offseason to prepare for some of the most notorious “physical” teams in college football, including Ohio State, the Michigan Wolverines and the Penn State Nittany Lions.

“It’s so competitive (at practice),” Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson told Amaranthus. “You’d think we were in a national championship game playing against somebody – that’s how intense we practice.”

Oregon opens the 2024 season on Aug. 31 against Idaho at Autzen Stadium (4:30 p.m. PT, Big Ten Network).
