OBITUARY
John Terrance Galloway, 82, husband of the late Barbara (Yoder), passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024. He was the son of the late Gordon Bates and Mary Evelyn (Mentzer) Galloway. John spent his entire working life in Pottstown, working in local bakeries including Schultz Bakery, then joining Dana Corporation in 1968. He retired from Dana in 2003 after 35 years of service. John was a lifelong member of Trinity Reformed UCC in Pottstown. John also cherished the time he spent at The Center at Spring Street. John is survived by his daughters Karen (Terry) Bechtel of Barto, PA, and Andrea (Joseph) Pezzimenti of Fairfield, CT; his grandchildren Zachary (Mary) Bechtel, Bethany (Benjamin) Matase; his siblings Ava and John Pezzimenti; and his great-granddaughter Emilia Bechtel. John also leaves behind his sister Bonnie (Steven) Getz, many loving nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Trinity Reformed UCC in Pottstown. A viewing at 10:00 a.m. will be followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, 701 Farmington Avenue in Pottstown.
