Las Vegas Raiders DE Maxx Crosby spoke from the locker room

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Las Vegas Raiders are in the third week of NFL 2024 training camp and are preparing to host the Dallas Cowboys in their second preseason game.

The Silver and Black hope to name a starting quarterback after Saturday’s game, with Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew in a neck-and-neck race for the starting quarterback spot.

Tonight, your beloved Raiders returned to Allegiant Stadium for a free public workout in front of Raider Nation.

We spoke to DE Maxx Crosby after practice and we have everything he said from training camp.

You can watch the entire press conference below:

Las Vegas Raiders coach Antonio Pierce recently gave a speech before practice. A partial transcript is below.

Q: You mentioned that Kolton Miller and Jackson Powers-Johnson could be in next week. I know Kolton should be ready since he’s an experienced player. But some time has been lost with Jackson. You’re at a point where it’s uncertain if you can start the season with him?

Coach Pierce: “Yeah, but the good news is we took him out of the PUP today, right? He’s out of the PUP. He’ll be up, he’ll be at practice today. He’ll be limited and like everything else, we’ll have to pack him back up. So he’s got a couple weeks. We’ve got a couple weeks until the game. To sit there and say, ‘He’ll probably be a starter day one.’ Uh, probably not. But I think it’s always smart not to rush rookies. First of all, just like we talked about DJ (Glaze’s) learning curve, they’re progressing, getting back into practice and game shape. So he’s got a ways to go and I think he’s done a good job on his own. Now he’s back, he’s out of the PUP, we’re excited to have him back with us.”
