This combined tutorial and writing camp weekend is open to songwriters who want to enter the lucrative dance market and make a name for themselves as a writer in the industry.
First and foremost it is a writing camp. You will be guided by triple platinum songwriter Ryan Sewell and the production talents of Dublin Studio Hub, and receive live instruction from John Saunderson of Notting Hill Publishing. The course/camp begins at 3pm on Friday 8th November with a panel discussion on modern music publishing led by one of the publishing industry’s giants, John Saunderson of Notting Hill Publishing. The panel will be moderated by Christian Homann of RTE Pulse FM, one of Ireland’s most respected dance DJs and radio presenters, and will include Ryan Sewell and Hub producer Larry Hogan.
The panel will focus on the changing publishing industry, the emergence of AI, and how to navigate these changes as an author. There will be a particular focus on the impact of AI on the publishing industry, and the benefits and pitfalls, including the legal implications of using AI.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be guided writing camps where you will have the opportunity to professionally record your vocals and prepare demos in the Vault recording studio.
