The royal family congratulated the Princess Royal on her 74th birthday.
Anne was admitted to hospital two months ago after suffering concussion and head injuries in an accident with a horse while walking on her Gatcombe property.
The Princess has gradually returned to public duty, but has continued her official engagements over the summer, travelling to Paris for the Olympic Games and taking part in the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo last week.
