Photos from the set of FIRST STEPS may show Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm in a suit (SPOILER)

The same photographer who recently with an early look at The Fantastic Four: First Steps The UK set posted photos today featuring an actor they believe to be Vanessa Kirby.

She is blonde and appears to be wearing the same blue costume we saw in the first concept art for the reboot, so we would say there is a good chance that this is indeed Mission: Impossible Star. If not, it’s probably a stunt double.

We’re not sure if the cameras were rolling, but it looks like the Invisible Woman is holding a baby in her arms as she falls to the ground (in this case, onto a sleeping mat).

This baby could also be significant, as there have been rumors for some time that The Fantastic Four: First Steps will feature Reed and Sue’s young son, Franklin Richards. On paper, he’s an incredibly powerful mutant with the ability to reshape and create realities, potentially making him a crucial part of the arrival of Marvel’s First Family on Earth-616.

Due to the distance, the photos aren’t the best quality and as far as we know, that’s not even Sue! Still, the blue costume and white boots are hard to miss and it’s clearly some kind of stunt involving the character holding a small child.

Marvel Studios will certainly tighten security measures in the coming weeks. The Fantastic Four: First Steps not filming on location (and given these impressive sets, it may not even be necessary), then this blurry shot of Sue may be all we have for quite a while…

Marvel Studios has announced that Pedro Pascal (Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (Sue Storm/Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn (Johnny Storm/Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (Ben Grimm/The Thing) will star. The Fantastic Four: First Steps pour.

We will also see Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer and Paul Walter Hauser, John Malkovich and Natasha Lyonne in mystery roles. In the story, Galactus and Silver Surfer want to destroy the Earth.

Director Matt Shakman worked with both Avatar: The Way of Water Co-author Josh Friedman and WandaVision‘s Cam Squires on The The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ Screenplay, with Eric Pearson (Black widow) recently came on board to provide the finishing touches.

The film is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025.
