According to the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Arizona offers the Nutritional Assistance Program (formerly food stamps) to hundreds of thousands of eligible families. Individuals who qualify for the program receive an EBT, or Electronics Benefit Transfer (EBT), card, which is similar to a debit card, that they can use to purchase food at grocery stores, farmers’ markets, and even some fast-food restaurants.

The Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) allows eligible individuals to use their EBT at select restaurants.

Below is a list of fast food restaurants that accept EBT. This list was updated by the DES on June 20, 2024. It should be noted that just because a chain is listed does not mean that every store accepts EBT, so it’s best to check with the restaurant before placing your order.
