Malaysian actor and comedian Mohammad Aizat Ahmad Nazri said he would take legal action against a person for allegedly editing and uploading offensive images of his wife and national jumper Nur Dhabitah Sabri.

According to a report by Utusan, Mohammad Aizat, known by his nickname Jiggy Masin, has received two such photos since Nur Dhabitah reached the semifinals of the women’s 3m springboard event at the Paris Olympics on August 8. She advanced to the final on August 9, where she eventually finished 12th.

“Based on the statements of an investigating officer and a lawyer, the person has been served with a legal notice. I will take action because what this person has done is too much,” he said in the Utusan report.

Previously, Mohammad Aizat is said to have expressed his displeasure on social media against a man who had allegedly uploaded offensive edited pictures of his wife, which caused a stir on the Internet.

“If it’s just derogatory comments about me, I can still be patient. But the pictures have reached an insulting and degrading level,” he said.

According to a separate report by Kosmo, Mohammad Aizat had tried to reach the person via Facebook, but the account can no longer be found.

In a social media post, he added that the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), the Royal Malaysia Police and the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development would assist in the matter.
