Hoda Kotb feels particularly happy as she is celebrating a milestone birthday.

On Friday, August 9, Today The co-host celebrated her 60th birthday and shared on Instagram how she spent her morning with her daughters Haley (7) and Hope (4) and her mother. In the short Instagram carousel, the proud mother can be seen unwrapping her little ones’ presents while they crowd around her and watch.

In other photos, Hope holds up a bunch of balloons she gave her mother, and both girls smile broadly with their grandma in the kitchen. Behind them, dozens of drawings by Kotb’s daughters hang on their back door.

“Great birthday morning!! I’m lucky xoxoxo,” the birthday girl wrote under her post.

Earlier this week, Kotb returned home from covering the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris and posted a video on Thursday, August 8, of the sweet moment she was reunited with her daughters.

“Mommy!” the girls cried happily and ran eagerly to see Kotb as she came through the door.

Kotb didn’t have a chance to get through the door before the hugs started. Haley, wearing a pink dress, arrived first and hugged Kotb, who was carrying her bag and a bouquet of yellow roses.

Hope, dressed in Spider-Man, didn’t wait for a hug before eagerly showing her mother the water bottle in her hand.

“Mommy, look!” she said.

After the hugs, the mother-daughter trio went to the couch where they got some much-needed cuddles.
