Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has revealed the very thoughtful birthday present she gave her co-star Luke Newton.
All eyes are currently on Coughlan and Newton in the new season of Bridgerton, which tells the love story of their characters Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton (also known to fans as “Polin”).
To commemorate the recent release of season 3, Coughlan shared some cute behind-the-scenes photos with her fellow cast members on Instagram, revealing Newton’s sweet gift in the caption.

“A few bits and pieces,” she wrote. “All the bad quality ones are from a disposable camera, all the good quality ones are from @lukenewtonuk when he bought me a vintage camera for my birthday because on screen and in private life he is the best.”
The first photo shows Nicola hugging her co-star Claudia Jessie, who plays Eloise Bridgerton in the series. While their characters’ friendship is put to the test in season three, there seems to be no animosity between the two in real life.
Newton can be seen posing for the camera in several snapshots, including one with his Bridgerton siblings Eloise (Jessie) and Benedict (played by Luke Thompson).

Other co-stars joining the cast include Simone Ashley, the lead from season two, smiling with season three newcomer Hannah New, as well as Sam Phillips, another new addition to the cast, and Jessica Madsen, who plays Cressida Cowper.
Polly Walker (Lady Featherington) and Lorraine Ashbourne (Featherington’s maid Varley) also pose together in costumes in another sweet snapshot.
The first four episodes of Bridgerton, known as Part 1, were released last Thursday (May 16), with Part 2 arriving on Netflix in mid-June.
Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of Bridgerton, Part 1 are now streaming on Netflix along with Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. Bridgerton Season 3, Part 2 starts on June 13th.
