Over 75 artists will take over downtown Brighton, MI this coming weekend, August 23-25, for the first-ever Brighton Street Art Fair.
The event lasts a whole weekend and includes art, music, food, artistic activities and fun. Visitors have the opportunity to explore and even purchase the artistic creations of the over 75 juried artists of the Brighton Street Art Fair.
The art fair takes place on Main Street in downtown Brighton.
“This newly renovated streetscape provides an attractive backdrop for an art fair,” wrote the organizers at the website.

A series of artist will be present at the fair with creations that captivate every eye, including paintings, jewelry, sculptures, ceramics, mixed media, digital art, leather, fibers/fabrics, drawings, photography, wood, metals, prints and glass.
The Guild worked with the Brighton Chamber of Commerce to bring the first ever art fair to the streets of downtown Brighton.

The Guild of Artists & Artisans is a nonprofit membership organization of independent artists. The organization was founded in 1973 in Ann Arbor to develop and present art fairs for communities in southeast Michigan and northwest Ohio.
The Guild currently runs seven fairs annually: Art Birmingham, The Levis Commons Fine Art Fair, Common Ground’s Birmingham Street Art Fair, A2 Artoberfest, Royal Oak Market: Art Fair Edition, the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair, and the Brighton Street Art Fair.
