Antonela Roccuzzo shares photos from her sunny summer with Messi and her children

Antonela Roccuzzo and Lionel Messi are loving summer in Miami. The couple, who spent most of the summer at home in Miami, shared some new snaps of themselves enjoying the hot weather while their kids keep them sweet company.

The photos were shared on Rocuzzo’s social media channels and show her and her family enjoying the sun on board a yacht. Roccuzzo looks stunning and sporty in a pink bikini, while Messi wears black shorts. Their children Thiago, Mateo and Ciro are also seen in swimsuits, all wearing different shades of green, and are seen drinking their father’s energy drinks. The ‘Mas+’ energy drinks have recently been launched, with flavours inspired by Messi’s life and achievements.

“Summer and her,” Roccuzzo captioned the post, adding various emojis, including a wave, a blue heart and a palm tree.

Messi’s recovery from ankle injury

Messi has been resting over the summer. He previously sprained his ankle during the Copa America final. That moment led to an early end to his game and he sat emotionally on the bench as he watched his teammates play the remaining half of the final. In recent weeks, Messi has put his health first, avoiding Inter Miami games and spending a lot of time with his family. He has missed five consecutive games since his injury.

Fans are concerned about his health, but Inter Miami coach Tata Martino has made it clear that he is on the mend. “Leo is fine,” he said at a press conference. “He is still in the gym, but you can see that he is getting better every day. He is within the deadlines we have set for him.”

It is not known when he will return to the pitch, but various sources speculate that his return will likely take place in September, before the players’ international break. This would allow Messi to take part in the World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Colombia.
