I couldn’t be a bigger fan of everything WWE is doing with The Judgment Day right now, especially the Dominik Mysterio/Liv Morgan/Rhea Ripley triangle. Every story beat has been a huge hit, and that was the case again this week with Monday Night Raw.
Ripley opened the show and ended up going back and forth between her ex-husband and his new wife. At one point, Rhea bluntly said that while he stabbed her in the back, he didn’t go deep enough.
And he has heard this before.
Great.
They later made a pretty great entrance where Ripley uncovered a ruse that allowed them to pinpoint Dom & Liv’s whereabouts, giving Damian Priest the chance to show up and start a big brawl. When it looked like that was over, Mysterio tried to get off the top rope while Priest and Ripley hugged.
And this is how it turned out:
He grabbed the man by the neck mid-hug. What an incredible opening section and an incredible story as a whole.
The good news is that they will settle it in a mixed tag team match, as announced later in the show. It will take place at Party in Berlin Premium live event later this month in Germany. If this section was any indication, it’s going to be an absolute blast.
