My daughter McKinley’s first birthday was over the weekend and boy was it sweet and incredible!! We had a blast, a party at our house with our closest friends and family.

She had a great time with all her friends, people were swimming in the pool, laughing and crying, it was really a great time. Oh yes, there was a piñata too!! It was just such a special weekend.
I want to talk for a minute about how amazing it was to become a father. Before I became a father, I remember parents saying things like, “You don’t know love until you hold your baby for the first time.”
I would say “Oh, I’m sure,” but not really understand it or believe it. Boy was I wrong. It’s like I’ve grown another limb, another part of me. She is everything to my wife Emily and I. The fact that she is ONE is just crazy! I love her so much, happy birthday sweet girl!
