What are TikTok gifts?

TikTok allows users to give virtual gifts to their favorite content creators.

Sending a virtual gift allows fans to interact with influencers and can be used as a donation method.

In return, creators often promise shout-outs on their live streams and even offer their fans the opportunity to follow them on social media.

The gifts are represented by different emoji symbols and the value of each gift varies in price.

Fans can send digital gifts that appear as animations on the screen during live-streamed video sessions.

How much are TikTok gifts worth in the UK?

Commonly used TikTok gifts can cost anywhere from 1p to £48.99 each, with some of the newer additions costing even more.

To give a gift to their favorite influencer, users must purchase TikTok coins.

Prices for coin packs range from 32 pence for 30 coins to a whopping £26,500 for 2,500,000 coins.

Depending on the gift value, influencers receive 50% of the gift sales generated.

A rose is one of the most common gifts and is worth a coin.

The estimated value of a coin is about 1 pence.

According to Dexerto, the cost of purchasing each gift in virtual coins and their value in pounds are as follows:

What is the TikTok Creator Fund?

According to TikTok’s official website, the Creator Fund “provides TikTok’s best and brightest with the opportunity to monetize their creative talent.”

While it is neither a grant nor an advertising revenue program, the Creator Fund pays qualified TikTokers based on a “variety of factors” of their content.

“We want all creatives to have the opportunity to make money doing what they love and turn their passion into a living,” the website continues.

Since there is no limit on the number of qualified TikTokers who can join the fund, payments may increase or decrease at different times during the life of the platform.

Factors that affect how much a qualified TikToker earns include the number of authentic views per video, the level of engagement, and whether or not the work complies with community guidelines.
