Three people charged in June 30 Fishers Taco Bell robbery • Latest News

The Fishers Police Department announced on August 12 that it had completed its investigation into the June 30 robbery at Taco Bell on Allisonville Road.

Three Indianapolis men are in custody, each facing multiple charges. Fredrick Nance and Terrell Caudle are being held in Hamilton County on $1 million bail, according to FPD. Davonta Hilliard is being held in Marion County and is expected to be extradited there.

According to the FPD, the Fishers Police Department worked with the FBI’s Violent Crimes Task Force to investigate the robbery and received assistance from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Covert Robbery and SWAT teams and the FBI’s Safe Streets Task Force.

According to the FPD’s June 30 report, several men pulled guns on the restaurant’s drive-thru window around 1:30 a.m. and demanded money. One of the suspects – later identified as Nance – had fled in a stolen blue Dodge Challenger.

Officers spotted the vehicle heading south on Allisonville and attempted to stop it. A chase led into Marion County, where the vehicle stopped, Nance got out and fled on foot, according to the report. Several officers, including a canine unit, gave chase and the dog was released by its handler for arrest.

Nance is said to have fired a weapon during the pursuit, but no one was injured.
