NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – Downtown Music Publishing (DMP) has signed a worldwide music publishing agreement with Double P Records, the label and publishing arm of George Prajin and 5x platinum certified Latin artist of Música Mexicana Featherweight. As part of this partnership, DMP will provide full global management and sync placement for current and future Double P Records releases, as well as handling Pluma’s publishing interests, including his latest double album, Exodowhich has amassed over 86 million streams on Spotify since its release in June 2024.
Double P Records, founded in April 2023 in collaboration with Prajin Parlay Inc., includes a roster of songwriters including Pluma, Jasiel Nunez, Estevan Plazola, And Jesús Roberto Laija García (Tito Double P) under Prajin Music Publishing. Pluma, who has 52 million monthly listeners on Spotify, made history as the first Mexican artist to top the Daily Top Artists Mexico chart. His previous album, Genesis, earned him a Grammy for Best Música Mexicana Album in 2024.

The announcement coincides with a period of strong growth for Downtown in the Latin American and Música Mexicana space, highlighted by over 30 Latin Grammy nominations in 2023 for clients across the group.
