Street Art Walk through West Walnut

Street Art Walk through West Walnut

Smithville, TN – Eat. Shop. Drink. Music. That’s what you can expect when artisans and vendors gather on Walnut Street in historic downtown Smithville, Tennessee on Friday, September 27, for the third annual Art Walk on West Walnut.

The street will become a safe pedestrian zone, similar to a European street festival, and festivities will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Organizers have curated a variety of art mediums this year. Emerging artists will join many returning artists from previous years, including woodworkers, jewelers, sculptors, painters and photographers. Organizations such as Art Round Tennessee and Off the Beaten Path will also be on hand to meet and greet the public.

This event is free and open to the public. Local food and beverages are available for purchase. A private art collection, including an authentic work by Pierre Auguste Renoir, will be on display in the courtyard of the Carriage House at 105 N 4th Street.

West Walnut will be lit up by a cafe, and live music from local talent will be played under the stars. The Faces & Places exhibit at the Arts Garage will remain on display during the Art Walk.

A popular feature of this event is the Community Art Project for the public. All ages are invited to participate. Join in the fun, shop, eat, drink and more! It’s never too early to start shopping for the holidays or for yourself! So plan to join us on Friday, September 27th for our third annual Art Walk in West Walnut!
