The Davenport Hotel Collection, a portfolio of five upscale hotels in Spokane, Washington, welcomes Melissa Green as its new vice president and area general manager. Green currently oversees The Davenport Hotel, The Davenport Grand, The Davenport Tower, The Davenport Lusso and The Centennial – this collection of hotels has become a landmark of the city’s Pacific Northwest heritage and serves as a central gathering place for Spokane locals and travelers. Green will lead public relations and operations, working closely with hotel teams to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue generation.
Green was most recently Area General Manager at Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge and Hotel Viking where she achieved projected sales of over 70 million dollars. She was recently awarded Massachusetts Lodging Association and General Manager of the Year 2023. Previously, Green was General Manager at the global brands Hyatt and Marriott and an extensive background in catering, events, food, beverage and operations.
