18:40: The second Thursday brings the West Seattle Art Walkand it’s happening right now! We first stopped Real Estate in West Seattle (2715 California SW; WSB sponsor), tonight with two artists – Michael Henderson (recently presented here) and Charlie Harries. They have collaborated on work, including what you see in our photo above. Charlie is celebrating his birthday (there is cake!) and Mike showed us his newly published children’s book “Stones: What do they do??” He will be leading a puppet-making workshop at WSR on the coming Thursdays (starting August 15) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., which will end with a puppet presentation on August 24. Admiral Function Street party! Mike and Charlie are at WSR tonight until 8pm. More to come – check out the artists and venues featured tonight here!

18:59: These are some of the artist’s works Matthew D Hooverat West Seattle Grounds (2141 California SW) tonight; he says his work often depicts places he has been, from Eastern Washington to Tuscany and beyond. He works primarily in oil and acrylic. WSG is also one of the three Art of Music Venues:
