Scotty McCreerys 1-year-old son, Averycan cross another word off his learning list: “Mommy”.

In an interview with ABC Audio, Scotty said that Avery “recently learned” to say “mommy” and that’s pretty much all he says these days.

“It was always ‘Da-da’ and ‘Daddy this’ and ‘Daddy that’. But now it’s ‘Mommy’. As soon as he wakes up in the morning, all he says is ‘Mommy, Mommy?'” says Scotty. “We think… he’s forgotten who Daddy is now.”

Another word Avery has learned is “Buzz,” as in Buzz Lightyear from Toy history – a film that brings father and son closer together.

“He loves Toy history. So he just walks around and says, ‘Buzz? Where’s Buzz? Where’s Buzz?'” the country singer says. “I’m so glad he likes it, because I like it (the movie), too. So I don’t have to watch, you know, Bluish or something else I don’t want to see. So, okay, I’ll watch Toy history.”
