LA Knight: John Cena might want to win this WWE US title again

Would LA Knight be willing to defend his WWE United States Title against John Cena? YES!

John Cena is preparing for his final WWE tour. In 2025, John Cena will compete in less than 40 WWE events and this tour will mark the end of his WWE career. Naturally, WWE Superstars, both known and unknown, are lining up to try to be part of this historic time in WWE.

Satoshi Kojima will defend his MLW World Championship title against Mads Krule Krugger at MLW FIGHTLAND on September 14th

During one of John Cena’s recent WWE appearances, he teamed with LA Knight to face Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa at WWE Fastlane 2023. Knight is now the current WWE United States Champion, and although John has held the title several times, Knight says he is willing to give Cena another shot at the US title.

Knight was asked about possibly facing John Cena at a live book signing at Fanatics Fest NYC and he was very open to the idea, calling Cena a milestone in the history of the United States Championship.

“Previous tag partners. You never know. Maybe he wants to come back and challenge for the United States Championship again – a guy who was a mainstay of that championship. I would definitely take on that challenge. Since he’s my tag partner, I might already know him a little bit. You’re talking about the greatest of all time and what some would call the future.”

While Superstars line up to challenge John Cena, Cena isn’t interested in personally selecting his opponents. Instead, he wants to make the most of what’s coming his way.

Bron Breakker also challenged John Cena for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Read more about it here.
