Update 1.6 is full of surprises for the Stardew Valley community because a player accidentally discovered a new use for clay to decorate his farm. Its continued popularity is due in large part to the efforts of Eric Barone, who has updated the game with new content since its release.
The latest update for Stardew Valley was released on March 19, 2024 and brought with it a long list of features: a new desert festival, the Meadowlands Farm, better chests and ovens, and the ability to keep multiple pets. Fishing in Stardew Valley is an important part of the game, as the player must deal with the mechanics to complete the community center (in a conventional playthrough). The farmer can catch fish in two ways: with his fishing rod or by placing a crab basket on the shore. Certain types of fish can only be caught at a certain time of year, time of day, or even in certain weather conditions. That being said, all fish found in Stardew Valley can be placed in an aquarium, even in stationary ones such as Super Cucumbers.

While the number of aquarium decorations will undoubtedly continue to grow, either through official updates or Stardew Valley Mods, it remains to be seen whether the fishing mini-game will return in Haunted Chocolatiera sandbox title developed by Eric Barone and considered the spiritual successor to Stardew Valley. Haunted Chocolatier has no set release date and it’s been almost three years since it was announced with a gameplay trailer.
