Japan Airlines and Liverpool Football Club celebrate the grand opening of the Japan Airlines Lounge at Anfield Stadium

Official opening hours before the first home game of LFC on 25.08.the new lounge design offers a fresh and unique experience that combines Japanese hospitality with the excitement of English football. Reflecting the tranquility and luxury of JAL service, the lounge design is inspired by elements of Japanese nature and architecture, reflected in the use of wood, soft lighting and clean lines with modern contemporary furnishings throughout the space.
The Japan Airlines Lounge, located in the former 1892 hospitality area, will be open during Liverpool FC’s home games.

The opening of the lounge is part of a wider partnership between Japan Airlines and Liverpool FC, both of whom are linked by a shared commitment to caring for people and communities. Other collaborations include joint efforts through the LFC Foundation, which has already launched a youth football clinic in Philadelphia during LFC’s US pre-season tour. Further programmes are planned for Thailand and other regions, further strengthening the relationship between the two global brands.

The Japan Airlines Lounge opening ceremony featured Japanese cocktails such as the Yuzu Sour, setting the tone for an evening of elegance. A mobile service booth offering caviar and sake gave guests a taste of Japan Airlines’ premium experience. A classic Japanese whiskey and dessert combination was served to finish the evening. Personalized gifts such as engraved chopsticks and luggage tags were presented to commemorate the opening.

Together, Japan Airlines and Liverpool FC aim to inspire and connect fans and travelers around the world and build bridges between cultures, communities and people.
