At the start of filming for Guy Ritchie’s new movie, stunt doubles were spotted in Liverpool.
Film sets have been popping up in Liverpool this week as filming gets underway on Guy Ritchie’s upcoming gangster flick Fountain of Youth. On Monday, a mysterious ride-free funfair appeared overnight in Exchange Flags – leaving fans curious.
The excitement continued to build on Tuesday (May 14) as more filming was spotted. One film fan was left beside himself with excitement after seeing Natalie Portman and John Krasinski speeding away in a vintage convertible sports car while filming a scene for their new big-budget movie at St George’s Hall.

Filming continued today (Wednesday) at various locations in the city centre – car chases also reportedly took place. During filming this morning, stunt doubles were spotted at Exchange Flags, which caused quite a stir.
Footage has been released of a high-speed chase through the streets surrounding the popular Liverpool landmark, with dozens of crew members spotted in high-visibility vests, film equipment and props – including a John Krasinski mask.
A stunt double wore the John Krasinski mask to film the high-speed chase. He was seen “driving” the sports car. A crew member was also filmed holding up the stunt double’s mask and grinning.
Filming is reportedly set to continue until Saturday, May 18, with more sets being built across the city.
