New works by Lincoln County artists are among the oil paintings, watercolors, collages, photographs, prints and sculptures on display in the Maine Art Gallery’s (MAG) current exhibition, “Made in Maine.” The gallery, located on Warren Street in Wiscasset, features works by Kathy Bouchard of Newcastle, Carol Wiley of Newcastle and Irene Plummer of East Boothbay, among others.

The Maine Art Gallery is open Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours will be extended to 7:00 p.m. for the Wiscasset Art Walk on Thursday, August 29.

This special exhibition features a wide selection of art inspired by Maine’s visual and emotional sense of place. “Made in Maine” runs through Sunday, September 8. It is one of two shows per season reserved for member artists.

The gallery thanks season sponsor Sherri Dunbar of Tim Dunham Realty, capital sponsor Islebrook Villages in Wiscasset, and Camden National Bank, sponsor of the “Made in Maine” exhibition.
