How does Sacramento’s gun buyback program work?
According to the police department, the number of firearms per adult under the trade-in program is limited to three – spontaneous visits are not permitted.
Upon arrival, the firearm must be unloaded and locked in the trunk of the vehicle.
You stay in your car and receive instructions on the next steps.
How much money can I get to trade in my firearm?
The gift cards are valued at $50 each and are subject to availability, the department said.
