The 2024 Summer Olympics have given Snoop Dogg so much and he’s returning the favor by spreading love in Paris.
While Snoop was hanging out with Simone Biles and her family on Thursday (August 8), the star gymnast’s father celebrated his 75th birthday. Snoop Dogg brought gifts and gave Ronald Biles a new Death Row necklace.
Simone posted a photo on her Instagram story showing her father rocking the gold chain with a birthday cake, while her sister Adria also rocked a clearer picture of the new ice cream. “Snoop gave him a chain, now he doesn’t know how to act,” wrote Adria. “75 looks great on you! Happy birthday, I love you.”
Simone Biles attended a track and field competition with Snoop and revealed that it was the first Olympic competition she ever competed in that was not her own gymnastics competition.
“I’ve actually never watched another event before, so this is my first time. Yeah, ever,” she told Snoop Dogg.
Snoop had some viral moments with Simone and the Biles family during the Olympics. The celebrated gymnast and his teammate Jordan Chiles noticed someone dancing in the audience during a qualifying round on July 28 and quickly realized it was actually Snoop Dogg, who showed off a few moves and showed off his Biles t-shirt before the two athletes followed suit from the floor.
The Biles family doesn’t forget, and Simone’s mother, Nellie Biles, recalled a time in 2010 when they visited NYC and saw Snoop turn them away for a photo in Times Square. “We asked for a photo and you said, ‘Two minutes.’ One, two and you were gone,” she reminded Snoop during a conversation with the rapper and Today Hoda Kotb from the show.
Simone Biles is further building her reputation as the most successful gymnast in history at the 2024 Olympic Games, having already won three gold and one silver medals there.
