Are tennis balls yellow or green?
This age-old debate has sparked countless discussions and divided opinions across the country, with even tennis player Roger Federer speaking out on the subject.
In a recent survey conducted by IHG Hotels and Resorts, 56% of Americans believe a tennis ball is yellow, while 44% believe it is green*.
To end this debate once and for all, the IHG Rally Room was created – a tennis ball-themed suite.
The extravagant suite is divided down the middle by the center line of a tennis court, with one half featuring bright green décor while the other half features striking yellow accents.
The green side is outfitted with stylish green pillows and blankets, plus there’s a pair of bright green low-top sneakers, a visor, and a tennis racket to complete the look.
On the yellow side, there is a cozy yellow catwalk with a lamp full of balls, a yellow vintage telephone and a clock. There is also a pair of yellow high-top sneakers, a baseball cap and of course a yellow tennis racket.
If you’re dreaming of a tennis vacation, you’re in luck! The suite is available for stays at the Kimpton Hotel Eventi in NYC and the Hotel Indigo Atlanta Downtown from August 26 through the two weeks of the US Open.
