John Harbaugh talks about the Ravens during training camp

OWINGS MILLS, Maryland – We got a glimpse into the Baltimore Ravens training camp, where Lamar Jackson, Justin Tucker and even Derrick Henry took to the field to impress the local fans.

By noon, fans were lining up to catch a glimpse of the team that won the most games in the NFL last season.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said the standout player of training camp was not two-time MVP winner Lamar Jackson or 2020 Offensive Player of the Year Derrick Henry, but second-year wide receiver Zay Flowers. “I would say Isiah put together a fantastic training camp. It was another great day, we hit a lot of deep balls out there. He was spectacular running routes and doing the details. I think the timing was fantastic, he’s just a very special athlete. He comes to work every day ready to go, so we’re very proud of him,” he said.

Noticeably absent from training camp on Sunday was first-round pick Nate Wiggins.

Coach Harbaugh had good news, saying the rookie corner’s shoulder injury was not serious. “Wiggins is not a serious injury, he has the same one I sustained on the water slide last week. I think we’re good,” he said.

He also expressed his opinion on the NFL’s new kickoff rules.

“I’m a little worried about the chaotic injury potential of this game. But I thought it was a lot of fun. I thought our guys did a good job. I thought our coverage was good. One wasn’t great, but the rest were great and I thought we blocked people very well on our returns. We just have to keep building on that,” he said.
